Production process of bearing steel ball

The specific production process of bearing steel ball is as follows:
1. Wire drawing: stretch the purchased wire to the required material diameter with a wire drawing machine.
2. Cold heading: put the drawn wire into the steel ball cold heading machine, and use the steel die in the machine for cold heading to form the ball embryo.
3. Light ball: two cast iron grinding ball round plates in the light ball machine file the cold heading ball embryo to remove the ring and two poles on the ball embryo;
4. Soft grinding: two cast iron grinding ball discs in the soft grinder file smooth ball germ to grind it to the required ball diameter and surface roughness.
5. Heat treatment: put the ball into the heat treatment furnace for quenching and tempering to make the ball have hardness, toughness and crushing load.
6. Hard grinding: in the grinder, cast iron and grinding wheel round plate are used to grind the heat treated ball embryo, so as to remove the black oxide layer on the ball surface and correct the accuracy of the ball.
7. Preliminary research: the grinding ball embryo is finely ground in the finishing mill to make the grinding ball reach the required precision and finish of the finished product
8. Polishing: pour the ball into the polishing bucket and rotate it. Clean the surface of the steel ball with polishing machine and cleaning agent to make it clean and bright.
9. Selection: manually and visually inspect whether the steel ball surface has defects.
10. Inspection: inspect the appearance, size, hardness, sphericity, surface roughness and metallographic structure of the finished product.
11. Packaging: carton, wooden case or woven bag shall be used for packaging according to customer requirements.
